Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started with Disbo?

Join our wait list or sign up as a Founding Member to reserve early access. Once we launch, our team will guide you through setup and onboarding. The process includes connecting your bank account, configuring your trust accounting preferences, and importing your existing case data if applicable.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Disbo uses AES-256 encryption for all data at rest and in transit. Every transaction is logged in an immutable audit trail, and access is controlled through role-based permissions with multi-factor authentication required for all accounts. SOC 2 certification is planned and coming soon.

What types of organizations can use Disbo?

Disbo is built for personal injury law firms and medical providers involved in settlement disbursements. This includes PI attorneys, chiropractors, orthopedic surgeons, imaging centers, physical therapists, pain management clinics, and any healthcare provider who treats patients on a lien basis and needs to be paid from settlement proceeds.

Does Disbo integrate with my existing software?

Yes. Disbo offers native integrations with leading legal practice management systems including Filevine, Clio, and MyCase. We also provide a REST API with full documentation, webhooks, and a sandbox environment so your team or your IT provider can build custom integrations with any platform.

What does Founding Member pricing include?

Founding Members lock in 50% off per-disbursement fees ($2.50 vs $5.00), the $99/month platform fee permanently waived, white-glove onboarding with a dedicated success manager, and a premium listing in the provider directory that gives your practice more visibility to law firms using the platform.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?

Email us at support@disbo.com with details. We review every request and prioritize based on user impact. For urgent issues affecting trust account operations or active disbursements, our team is available Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM Pacific with priority response times.

What payment methods does Disbo support for disbursements?

Disbo supports ACH bank transfers, FedNow instant payments, and printed checks. Most firms use electronic payments for speed and traceability, but checks are available for parties who require them. All payment methods are tracked in the same trust ledger with full audit trail documentation.

Can I use Disbo if I am a solo practitioner?

Absolutely. Disbo is designed to scale from solo practitioners handling a few settlements per month to large firms processing hundreds. The platform handles the same trust accounting, compliance, and disbursement workflows regardless of firm size, so solo attorneys get the same level of compliance protection as large practices.

Still need help?
