Common questions about the demo

What will I see in the demo?

Your 30-minute walkthrough covers the full Disbo workflow: uploading a settlement statement, generating a multi-recipient disbursement breakdown, reviewing real-time IOLTA ledger entries, and producing an audit-ready report. We tailor the session to your practice type — personal injury law firm or medical provider — so you see the workflows most relevant to your team.

How long does onboarding take after a demo?

Most firms are fully configured and processing their first disbursement within one business day of signing up. Disbo connects to Filevine, Clio, MyCase, and other practice management tools you may already use, so there's no re-platforming required. Founding Members receive white-glove onboarding support from our team.

Is Disbo only for personal injury law firms?

Disbo is built specifically for law firms that hold client funds in IOLTA trust accounts and for the medical providers and lienholders they work with. Personal injury is our primary focus, but any firm managing settlement disbursements — mass tort, workers' compensation, or general civil litigation — will find the compliance and payment automation directly applicable.

What does it cost?

Disbo charges law firms a monthly platform fee plus a per-disbursement transaction fee. Medical providers pay nothing to receive lien payments. Founding Members — firms that join before general availability — lock in permanent pricing at 50% off standard rates. The demo is the right time to ask about Founding Member availability for your firm.

Do I need to switch my case management software?

No. Disbo is a disbursement and IOLTA compliance layer that runs alongside your existing case management platform. It does not replace Clio, MyCase, PracticePanther, Smokeball, CosmoLex, or Filevine — it integrates with them so trust accounting, payment records, and compliance documentation flow between systems automatically.
