- Same-day and next-day ACH
- Check printing and mailing
- Automatic payment confirmations
Integrates with the tools you already use
- 1
Settlement disburses — time to pay the client, the providers, and the lien holders.
- 2
Log into the bank portal and key in the client's ACH by hand.
- 3
Fill out a wire form for the lien holder — then call the bank to confirm they got it.
- 4
Print checks for everyone else. Find the check stock. Find a partner to sign them.
- 5
Stuff envelopes, add postage, drop them at the post office.
- 6
Wait. The client calls asking where their money is.
- 7
A check goes missing in the mail — stop payment, reissue, wait again.
- 8
The wire bounces back — wrong account number. Start that one over.
- 9
Weeks later: reconcile three payment systems against one trust account, from memory.
End of the line
Three payment systems, one trust account, and a client still waiting on their money. Two options.
Option A
Pull staff off casework to call the bank, trace the payment, and update every system by hand.
Option B
Ask the client to keep waiting while the mail sorts itself out.
Isn't that a better idea?
Every payment rail, unified. One platform, every method.
ACH, FedNow, wire, and check -- all from one dashboard. Smart routing picks the best rail based on recipient preferences and urgency. Every payment tracked from initiation through confirmed delivery.
Standard ACH for routine payments or same-day ACH when recipients need funds faster. Both options available from the same interface with automatic NACHA formatting.
Real-time payments that arrive in under 30 seconds, 24/7/365. Perfect for urgent client payouts and time-sensitive lien payments.
For recipients who still prefer paper, Disbo prints, stuffs, and mails checks automatically. No more trips to the printer or post office.
Disbo selects the optimal payment rail based on recipient preference, urgency, cost, and availability. Override anytime or let smart routing handle it.

Common questions about payments.
Disbo supports five payment rails from one platform: standard ACH (1-2 business days), same-day ACH (same business day), FedNow instant payments (under 30 seconds, 24/7), wire transfers (same-day guaranteed funds), and automated check printing and mailing. Every rail is available for every payment -- choose manually or let smart routing decide.
FedNow payments typically arrive in under 30 seconds. Unlike ACH or wire transfers, FedNow operates 24/7/365 -- including weekends and holidays. Recipients see the funds in their account almost instantly, with confirmation sent to both parties in real time.
Smart routing analyzes four factors for every payment: recipient preference, urgency, cost, and bank capabilities. For example, if a recipient prefers instant delivery and their bank supports FedNow, the system selects FedNow. If there is no urgency and cost matters, it defaults to standard ACH. You can override any routing decision before the payment is sent.
Disbo detects failed payments automatically. If an ACH is returned, a wire is rejected, or a FedNow payment cannot be delivered, the system alerts your team immediately with the failure reason. It then suggests alternative routing options -- for example, switching from ACH to wire if the recipient's account rejected the ACH. No payments fall through the cracks.
Absolutely. For recipients who prefer or require paper checks, Disbo prints checks on secure stock with MICR encoding, stuffs them in envelopes, and mails them via USPS automatically. You get delivery tracking and confirmation when the check is cashed. No trips to the printer or post office required.
